How to find the Will to Workout

Finding the will to workout when you’re not mentally in the fight is hard to do but not impossible.

But how do we do that? I’ll tel you.

Dial in your why. Saying, “I just want to be fit” isn’t enough, you have to figure out why you want to be fit, why is it important to you, how it will make you feel once you accomplished it and how it will impact those around you.

When you know the why’s it’s so much easier to put one foot in front of the other and make your way to the gym.

It’s cold outside, but that’s okay because you know why you’re doing it. Keep telling yourself those affirmations as you’re getting ready in the cold house, in no time your warm clothes will be on and it will be past the point of falling back into your warm bed.

After those first few months of willing yourself to come to the gym it does become easier. The daily reminding of why you’re doing it will become normal, when you do get there you won’t have to think anymore; getting ready for the gym will now feel like the norm.

Why do you come to the gym? If you don’t currently come to our gym, why do you want to be healthy? How does it or how would it make you feel if you accomplished it and who are the people in your life it would impact most?

Figure out the real why and you can will yourself to come to the gym even if you’re not “feeling” it that day.
